Starting from the 2025 academic year,

• “Freshman Chinese” will be renamed to:
  "Narrative Expression: Language Literacy" and "Narrative Expression: Language Application"

• “Freshman English” will be renamed to:
  "English Communication and Expression" and "Academic English: Listening & Reading"

• “Academic English: Listening & Speaking” and “Academic English: Reading & Writing” (Sophomore English courses) will be merged and renamed to:
  "Academic English: Speaking & Writing"
