History and Mission

In order to help Taiwan's workforce connect to the world,the government now adopts a policy to become an English-Mandarin nation by 2030.

In educational perspective, one of the approaches is to encourage a  number of college students to have essential ability for taking EMI (English as Medium of Instruction) courses. 

In response to the policy and the expectation the above mentioned, the Bilingual Education Resource Center, "BERC" (previous name：Center of EMI) was established in August 2021 by Office of Academic Affairs.
BERC aims to advance the domestic faculty's bilingual teaching skills and enhance students' global competitiveness.

Our vision is to become an international university that guides elite professionals towards excellence.
